Analytical Services
The Analytical Service Laboratory (ASL) of the Institute of Fish Processing Technology has been providing assistance to the food industry since 1984 through microbiological, chemical and sensory evaluations of fish and fishery products and technical consultation.
The Institute has great potential than its present offerings considering the capabilities of its faculty and research staff specializing in the fields of microbiology/biotechnology, aquatic chemistry, environmental science and post harvest processing. Plans are being pursued to expand the nature of the analysis to other fisheries and food commodities.
